Brian is the creator of the award-winning 50 Interviews series and has published more than 25 titles since 2008. Driven out of a need to provide his own authors access to the exploding digital book market, he launched KindleExpert.com in 2010 to provide digital conversion services for other authors and publishers. His title of 'Authorpreneur' encompasses the roles he fills as CEO, speaker, trainer, publisher, and publishing consultant. He’s been featured in the Coloradoan, Denver Business Journal, NBC, and CBS. He currently writes the What’s Working column for the Northern Colorado Business Report. He’s helped over 100 authors, including Jake Jabs, publish their books to the major online marketplaces to uncover additional streams of revenue for their work. He’s passionate about sharing his knowledge of what’s working in the new era of publishing, drawing from his 10+ years working for technology companies and his experience as a micro-niche publisher since 2008.

Dr. C. Daniel Miller, Immediate Past President
Dr. Miller is a freelance consultant on the business of independent publishing, copyright clearance and protection, management of copyright permissions acquisition projects, project management of independent publishing, marketing and distribution of publications, technical editor, innovative project manager, and writer.
He is the co-founder and co-owner of Integrated Writer Services, LLC that provides freelance editorial services, rights acquisition services, and consultation regarding the publishing business to authors of books, periodical articles, web pages, reports, and proposals. IWS has provided consulting, editorial, and permissions acquisition services that helped turn 65+ writers into authors. Consulting services include recommending practices and procedures needed to create and operate a successful independent publishing business.
He formerly served as producer of Mario the Peddler Productions, marketing and distribution manager for Rockaway Press, and consultant on computer and telecommunications systems to architects. He was the former president of the Center for Educational Technologies, the executive director of NASA's Classroom of the Future, a university professor and academic department chair, an educational researcher and classroom teacher. He also served in the US Air Force as a radar technician.

Joyce Miller, Secretary
Joyce Miller of Integrated Writers Services, LLC has been a copyright manager for NASA-funded programs and an associate editor for an academic/trade journal on technology transfer. She has a working knowledge of copyright issues associated with print and with the new digital technologies. Her articles related to copyright in writing, publishing, and art appear in print periodicals, on blogs, and in newsletters.
Joyce conducts copyright workshops, teleseminars, and training sessions for illustrators, web designers, marketing professionals, authors, and artists. This year she has given seminars and presentations on copyright clearance for associations such as the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA), the Graphic Artist Guild, the Denver Writers’ Meet-up Group, and the 2010 Denver ComicFest.
Joyce offers copyright project management, copyright research, and permissions tracking for items such as prose and poetry quotations, maps, photographs, song lyrics, graphic design works, and works of fine art.
She helps clients ensure their work on websites and blogs, in articles, and in books is safe from infringement and plagiarism.
